Project Summary
I developed website’s E-Commerce abilities, Social Media Content Integration, UX Writing and Brand Identity. I utilized CMS software to create a direct to consumer sales system with an easeful customer journey from awareness to buying. I embedded DOMINICALSANG’s TikTok feed to create a unified online presence. I produced a visually distinct brand identity by creating an original logo, color pallet and typography.

Introduction
DOMINICASLANG is a language preservation and learning community created by Catherine Fingal. With personal roots in the Caribbean island of Dominica, she wanted to teach the indigenous language through fun and engaging short form videos posted to tiktok. She wanted to create a digital home for members to learn about DOMINCASLANG’s mission, get connected to her latest videos and purchase merchandise. She wanted her website to reflect a fun in the sun island feel and be easy to use. Through market research and user research DOMINCSLANG’s website was created.
E-Commerce Capabilities
I utilized CMS software to create a direct to consumer sales system. With this, I created an easeful customer journey, streamlining operations and fulfillment by creating a dropshipping system.
Social Media Content Integration
DOMINICASLANG’s founder wanted to ensure that anyone who visited the website was able to view the most recent tiktok video. However, she did not want the hassle of having to upload tiktok video’s separately to her website. To address this I embedded DOMINICASLANGS tiktok feed into one of the pages on the site. Meaning when she posts to her tiktok, the webpage will automatically be updated with the most recent video as well. This seamless across platform integration also creates a more unified online presence.
